- Our charter pre-dates Kansas statehood by a few months.
- During the time Forbes Field, the Air Force Base on the South side of
Topeka, was an active Air Force Base our membership exceeded the number
of people actually living in the City of Auburn; however, like many Lodges
in Kansas, we have experienced a decline in membership and consequently
have had to dispose of our real estate holdings and convert to an Occasional
Lodge. Due to the large number of military personnel that joined our lodge
since World War II, we now have members that are living all over the United
States and even outside the United States.
- Our Annual Communication is the 1st Tuesday of December each year. Initiation
fees are still only $55.00 and membership dues are only $40.00 per annum.
